KATHMANDU, SEP 20 -
Acting Prime Minister and Home Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar on Tuesday said that a Police Service Commission would be set up as soon as possible.
Gachhadar, after the investigation of the Police Head Office at Naxal, said that he would not transfer or promote police personnel unexpectedly. He is urging to create the Police Service Commission to stop political pressure for the same, said police personnel.
He also directed the police personnel to work with self-confidence for the security of the people. Moreover, he also looked around the different police units and enquired about the current situation and how the Higher-level Police Personnel are working for the security of the nation.
