BHAKTAPUR, SEP 17 - Nepali Congress (NC) Parliamentary Party leader Ram Chandra Poduel accused the UCPN (Maoist) of deviating from the Comprehensive Peace Accord (CPA).

Speaking at a programme in Bhaktapur on Saturday, Poudel said the tasks of peace process and constitution writing were not completed after the Maoist party deviated from the CPA.

Poudel reiterated that the peace process will not be completed without army integration and claimed that the tasks of peace process and constitution writing would have been completed if all the past agreements were implemented.

Meanwhile, NC General Secretary Prakash Man Singh said his party has serious objection to the Prime Minister’s address to the Legislature-Parliament on Friday.

Speaking at a programme on the occasion of the 14th Ganesh Man Memorial Day today in Bauddha, he challenged Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai to deposit the money looted by the Maoist cadres during the insurgency and bring under the state coffer if the PM were to maintain austerity in the country.
