SUNSARI, SEP 15 - An Armed Police Force (APF) staffer, who was seriously injured in a road accident, died while undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Science in Dharan, Sunsari district on Wednesday night.
The AFP man, identified as Chet Bahadur Raut, was seriously injured when a bus (Na 3 Kha 7372) struck him while he was heading to the APF regional headquarters in the district from his duty, according to the Regional Traffic Police Office, Itahari.
He was admitted to the hospital following the accident.
The bus and the driver are under the control of Area Police Office.
