UML CC meet to continue today
KATHMANDU, SEP 13 -
The CPN-UML Central Committee meeting, to be held Tuesday at the party headquarters Balkhu, would be entering the discussions in the agendas set earlier.
Earlier on Sunday, the UML Standing Committee (SC) meeting had finalised nine agendas for the discussion in the CC meeting. The changed political context, peace and constitution, meeting of national representative council, work division of CC members, reports of party commissions, state restructuring and formation of a parliamentary board are some of the agendas that would be discussed today.
However, the analysis of its action plan would be discussed during the analysis meeting during the first week of October.
During the first day of the 11th CC meeting, that kicked off yesterday, former Prime Minister and party Chairman Jhala Nath Khanal along with other leaders had raised questions about the four-point deal signed between the Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM) and UCPN (Maoist) to create a ruling alliance.
However, he said that the party would continue its support for the government.
