DHANKUTA, SEP 13 -
Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Kedar Nath Upadhyay, has said that the cases of anarchy and impunity were on the rise in the country due to political interference in the administrative bodies.
Speaking at an interaction in Dhankuta on Tuesday, Upadhyay said cases of human rights violation were increasing as the political parties give protection to the criminals to make their parties ‘strong’ by protecting the criminals rather than taking action against them.
Rising trend of human rights violation and anarchy could be brought to an end only when the leaders help the administration to arrest and take action against the criminals.
During the programme, Eastern Regional Administrator of the NHRC, Dharani Dhar Khatiwada, said the cases of human rights violation could be controlled when the politics of criminalization and crime of politics was controlled. RSS
