Four arrested with pistol
POKHARA, SEP 10 -
Police arrested four persons involved in shooting at the vehicle of businessperson Rib Bahadur Thapa on Friday. Police also confiscated a pistol and two rounds of bullets from the arrestee.
Rishi Ram Bhandari of Bharatpokhari, Kaski, Dipak Malla of Lekhnath-2, Shashank Bhattarai of Bhandardhik, Lekhnath and, Dipak Chhetri of Newroad, Pokhara were arrested in charge of shooting Thapa’s vehicle four months ago. They are also accused of threatening Thapa on his phone.
Acting on a tip-off police arrested the main accused Bhandari from Jorpati in the capital on Thursday. The rest were arrested on Friday based on the information provided by Bhandari.
Police have filed a case against them.
Meanwhile, police has also arrested Sharad Thapaliya, hailing from Kathmandu, with a bullet from Lakeside, Pokhara.
Police also arrested Rabin Gurung aka ‘Bhale’ of Pokhara in charge of threatening and involving in various criminal activities.
