KATHMANDU, SEP 09 -
President of Women Awareness Centre Nepal (WACN) Prativa Subedi has done Nepal proud. She has been conferred with 'Women's Creativity in Rural Life Award 2011' by Women's World Summit Foundation for her contributions to empowering
rural women. Every year the foundation honours women across the globe with the award to draw international attention towards women's contributions to
sustainable development, household food security and law and order, as well to gain recognition and support through their community works. WACN, established by a
group of women, has been working for rural women's development.
