Gold hits record high
KATHMANDU, SEP 06 -
The price of yellow metal (Gold) climbed by Rs 900 per tola (11.664 grams) in a single day, setting a new record of Rs 54, 200 per tola in the domestic market.
According to Nepal Gold Silver Dealers Association, surpassing the earlier records, the gold price leapfrogged from Rs. 53,300 to 54,200 per tola on Tuesday by a margin of Rs. 900.
Tejabi Gold and silver were transacted at Rs. 53,900 and 1,250 per tola respectively on Tuesday.
