KATHMANDU, SEP 05 - The State Affairs Committee (SAC) has summoned Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai to discuss the delay in the appointment of officials in vacant posts at various statutory bodies, including the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority, and the security situation of the country.
Parliamentary Secretariat Spokesman and member of the SAC Mukunda Sharma said the PM has been asked to be there for the discussions on Sunday. The ruling coalition--UCPN (Maoist) and the Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha--has agreed to fill the vacant posts within 15 days of the formation of the government.
