One person was injured when a mini van (Ba 2 Kha 9226) en route to Khasa from Kathmandu was torched by the cadres of Tamsaling Nepal Rastriya Dal (TNRD) at the Buddal section of Arniko highway.
Suresh Balami, the driver of the van, was injured when the cadres burnt the front part of the van, police inspector Santosh Tamang informed.
Police is searching for those involved in the incident.
Meanwhile, district chairperson of TNRD took the responsibility of the incident.
TNRD vandalised the van after it disregarded the strike called by the Dal.
