Educational institutions closed in Parbat
PARBAT, AUG 14 -
Educational institutions remained closed across Parbat district on Sunday to mourn the death of the two children who were drowned in the river alive by their own father.
All the educational intuitions were closed at the call of Private and Boarding Schools' Organisation, Nepal (PABSON) of Parbat.
Namuna, 6 and Nabina, 8 who were studying in Rastriya Bal Sikshya Sadan at class 1 and 2 respectively were thrown alive into the Madi River by their father Bal Krishna Tiwari on July 31.
Tiwari, who had at first created a fuss saying that his daughters were kidnapped, later admitted to the special investigation team of Police of killing them himself.
The educational institutions were closed demanding proper punishment to the guilty, said District chairman of PABSON Him Bahadur Poudel.
