SUNSARI, AUG 11 -
An activist of the Nepali Congress has been stabbed to death at Singiya VDC of Sunsari district on Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as NC Singiya VDC President Kalyan Bikaram Thapa.
According to the police, Thapa was stabbed by a sharp weapon by his neighbor Ratna Bahadur Bhandari at around 10 last night.
Thapa was stabbed at his leg and died due to over bleeding at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, police informed,
Meanwhile, police have detained Bhandari for his involvement in the murder.
