GAJURI, AUG 07 - At least eight persons were injured in a road accident at Pida VDC-1, Jarebar of Dhading district along the Prithivi highway on Sunday morning.
According to the Area Police Office, Gajuri, the incident took place when a truck (Na 4 Kha 2844) heading towards Kathmandu from Mugling collided another truck (Na 3 Kha 2938) coming from the opposite direction.
Seriously injured, drivers of both the trucks were taken to Bir Hospital in Kathmandu for treatment while rest of the injured is undergoing treatment in local health centers, said police.
Police took initiative to clear the highway, which was obstructed for an hour after the incident.
