KATHMANDU, AUG 06 -
In a grand and much-awaited finale of the Kantipur Publications’ Jityo Car Jityo offer, KFA Pvt Ltd (receipt no 27483) rode its luck among 70,000 entries and bagged the first prize, a FIAT Punto car.
The subscribers of The Kathmandu Post and Kantipur daily in the four months period of the offer were included in the lucky draw, telecast live on Kantipur TV from the premises of Kantipur Publications in Subidhanagar, Tinkune.
Sudhir Sharma, editor of Kantipur daily, picked the winner for the first prize from the heaps of thousands of entries.
Similarly, Akhilesh Upadhaya, editor of The Kathmandu Post, picked Bhaktapur Pharma Traders, Thamel (receipt no 79101) for the second prize of Beko Home Appliances and Homemakers Kitchen Set.
Godavari Village Resort (receipt no 96798) was the winner for the third prize, a Solar Inverter from Gham Power, chosen by Prashant Aryal, editor of Nepal weekly and Subash Dhakal, editor of Nari monthly. Many other gifts and prizes had already been distributed to lucky subscribers in a weekly basis prior to the event on Friday.
