KATHMANDU, AUG 06 -
An Armed Police Force (APF) constable hanged himself using his wife’s shawl as a noose. Kishor Khadka, who hails from Ramechhap, was found dead in his rented room at Balambu. The constable, who hanged from a ceiling fan, was found alive by his wife at around 10:30 pm on Thursday. He who was then taken to the APF hospital but died on his way to emergency treatment at around 11 pm. A police team from the Metropolitan Police Range, Kalimati reached the incident cite and took details of the accident. His body was sent to Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj for post-mortem. Police said investigation into the incident is under way.
