‘Bhattarai-led govt within a month’
KATHMANDU, JUL 30 - Minister for Physical Planning and Works Top Bahadur Rayamajhi claimed on Saturday that a national consensus government would be formed within the next month under the leadership of his party Vice Chairman Baburam Bhattarai.
Speaking at a programme organised in the Reporter’s Club today, Rayamajhi went on to claim that the twin task of peace and statute drafting processes would also gain momentum if the next consensus government is formed under the leadership of Bhattarai.
He stressed on the need for immediate implementation of the five-point deal.
The Maoist Standing Committee member opined that it would be better if Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal resigns from his post to pave the way for the formation of a national consensus government.
The leader said that swearing in of the proposed Maoist ministers would not affect national consensus.
