LAHAN, JUL 22 - Police arrested Tarai based armed outfit Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (JTMM) army commander Bulan Yadav aka Jaya Mukti along with explosives and pistol making accessories on Friday.
Yadav, a resident of Lakad-8, was in the wanted list for his involvement in bombing the premises of Department of Transport and Management in Lahan and planting a pressure cooker bomb on the western wall of District Development Committee, Siraha, SP Bikash Shrestha informed.
Yadav was made public amidst a press conference this afternoon. He was arrested with 14 pieces of detonator, coal, one kilogram of ammonium and potash each, glycerin, potassium nitrate and oxygen nitrate, SP Shrestha informed. Two short-barreled pistols, four sets of its bullet and five set of mobile phones were also confiscated from Yadav’s room.
Similarly police arrested Mohammad Majharul Hak aka Soni of Lahan-7, Swaroop Kumar Mahato of Laxmaniya-5, Mahottari, Santosh Kumar Mandal of Rampura-8, Saptari in connection with Morcha. SP Shrestha informed that donation notes were confiscated from them.
