A conductor was killed in a truck-hit on Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Yadav, 25, an Indian national, who was hit by the truck (WB 73-2216), said Kakardbhitta Police Office. Yadav was the conductor of another truck (WB 23 B 6552). He was killed while sleeping in the road after parking the truck. Yadav died on the spot, said Police.
Meanwhile, police have impounded the truck. However, the driver is still at large.
