Party disputes talking toll on peace, statute
KATHMANDU, JUL 21 - Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairman Subash Nembang said internal disputes within the political parties have taken toll on the peace process and constitution drafting.
There is no alternative to concluding the peace and constitution drafting processes through political consensus, he said inaugurating the third three-day Dental Science Expo-2011 organised by Kantipur Dental College (KDC) at Basundhara on Thursday.
“Meetings of the Special Committee have been merely reduced to formality due to intra-party disputes. It’s high time that such a situation was ended,” he said.
Calling on health workers to press for timely completion of peace and constitution, he said the country’s health sector will be developed once the present political instability is settled.
Registrar of Kathmandu University Dr. Bhadraman Tuladhar expressed that the expo related to dental health will broaden knowledge of the experts and students of this field.
