TAPLEJUNG, JUL 20 -
A looter was killed while attacking the group of people of Poverty Alleviation Fund in Phugling VDC-2, Taplegunj on Wednesday.
The looter attacked the group who were carrying the amount of Rs. 4,52,000.
The deceased has been identified as Umesh Palunwa who was killed by his own friend, Prabesh Palunwa in the scuffle between money holders and the looters, said Police Inspector Kedar Dhakal.
The masked men were waiting for the men in the Salleri forest.
When the men retaliated against the looters, they opend fire, police supposed. Four persons have been injured in the clash. Among them Mina Baral and Surya Man Mukhiya are in critical state, said Police. Meanwhile, police have intensified search for Prabesh.
