The meeting of the Constitutional Council (CC) scheduled for Wednesday was put off after the major three political parties failed to patch up the differences over the appointment to the vacant posts in constitutional bodies.
Despite the hectic parleys for weeks, the parties have not been able to settle the row over recommending names for key constitutional positions that are lying vacant.
Prime Minister’s press advisor Surya Thapa informed that the meeting was deferred due to lack of homework among the parties. The CC meeting will be convened only after the annual budget is tabled, he further added.
