The inebriated youths suddenly rise from their bed and began attacking Dr. Bhimawasu Gyawali and Nurse Rejina KC who were giving medical treatments to them. They have been identified as Chitra Tamang, Suraj Gurung and Sujan KC.
“The trio used vulgar words and then started hitting us,” Dr. Gywali said.
The doctor has sustained injures in his body while the nurse has a swollen hand.
They resorted to vandalism at the Hospital saying that they were just testing his abilities, Dr. Gyawali said. They youths, who were brought to the hospital by Dr.Gyawali himself, began to create scene in the midst of treatment by asking questions such as: where did they studied and what they had just injected them with.
The doctors of the hospital filed a complaint at the police and informed the Chief District Office of Dolakha about the incident.
Police arrested the trio after the filing of complaint. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Umesh Raj Joshi, the attackers have been taken into custody and investigation is underway.
