Normal life in Bara district has been affected on Saturday following the indefinite transport strike called by the Bara Bus Entrepreneurs’ Association.
It is learnt that transportation along the Kalaiya-Birgunj road stretch has come to a grinding halt due to the strike since early morning, stranding the passengers.
The association is reported to have resorted to the strike after the administration turned a deaf ear towards their demands.
They are demanding that roads in the rural areas in the district be repaired.
