KATHMANDU, JUN 30 -
Two persons have drowned to death in a well at Kapurdhara of Samakhusi in the Capital on Thursday.
The deceased have been identified as Jit Bahadur Tamang and an Indian national—Santosh Shetty, Metropolitan Police Range informed.
It is learnt that they died after they drowned while cleaning the well of one Surendra Joshi, a resident of Kapurdhara Chowk this morning.
The mishap might have occurred due to oxygen-deficiency inside the well, the police have presumed.
The bodies of the deceased were recovered with combined efforts from the police, a rescue team, and the locals, sources confirmed.
