BHADRAPUR, JUN 29 -
A group of robbers opened fire at a woman and looted a gold chain at around 8.10 PM on Tuesday in Jhapa.
The robbers opened fire at Chelimaya, 30, wife of Rajan Kaderiya of Duwagadhi and looted the valuable from her home, police confirmed.
Having serious injuries to her chest and stomach, she was admitted to Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences last night.
The looters opened fire at her when she attempted to retaliate against robbers. Police added.
