Prioritise peace and statute, not govt: Mainali
KATHMANDU, JUN 23 -
General Secretary of CPN (ML) CP Mainali said peace process and constitution drafting will be overshadowed if the demand for government change is prioritised.
The political parties should work for the completion of peace process and constitution drafting on the basis of consensus within the extended tenure of the Constituent Assembly, he said speaking at a press meet in the Capital today.
If the CA is dissolved after Aug 31, national as well as foreign rightist and ethnic elements will take advantage, he said.
At the function, the party’s Politburo member and spokesman Kumar Belbase said his party was for resolving all problems through unity. RSS
