Maoist leaders urged to send their children to govt schools
KATHMANDU, JUN 23 - UCPN (Maoist) student wing All Nepal National Independent Student’s Union-Revolutionary (ANNISU-R) has urged the party leadership on Thursday to make it mandatory for the leaders’ children to attend government schools.
They urged the leaders to pass the verdict at the Central Committee meeting on Friday. A team led by Chairman Himal Sharma handed a memorandum at the Party Central Office.
“We request the Central Committee meeting to decide that all the children of the party members would have to study in government schools and help us in our campaign. Being a proletariat party we request the party headquarters, especially comrade chairman to set an example of it,” read the statement.
The statement also requests the leaders to work in unison.
