Chairman of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Ganatantrik (MJF-G) JP Gupta also did so by claiming that his party represents the true spirit of the original MJF.
Speaking to a group of journalists in Singha Durbar on Monday, Gupta claimed MJF-G has support of many district committee members of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Nepal (MJF-N).
Of 103 MJF candidates in the CA elections, 67 of them had left the party, Gupta said, adding that MJF-N has only few CA members left with it. He blamed Upendra Yadav for MJF-N split.
In another context, Gupta complained his party members were not protected by the government. “The party chairman is provided with security by the government, but no such facility has been provided to me.”
Meanwhile, MJF-N leader Abhishek Pratap Shah said that Gupta exploited the unsatisfactory side in the party by promising them with ‘incentives’.
