KATHMANDU, JUN 13 -
Police on Sunday arrested five people on the charge of attempting to steal from a shop and its storehouse of electronic goods owned by Suman Agrawal at Mahabouddha.
Kumar Budhathoki (26) was found to have been stealing goods from the shop a few days ago when police suggested Agrawal install a CCTV camera.
Police found that Budhathoki used to sell electronic goods at low prices to four people he was in contact with. Police also confiscated some electronic gadgets from the accused.
Buddhathoki who hails from Dolakha was arrested along with 27-year-old Rishi Oli and 34-year-old Chandra Bahadur Basnet of the same place. Also arrested on theft charges were 30-year-old Bashu Prasad Adhikari of Dhading and 25-year-old Rajesh Prasad Pokharel.
