TAPLEJUNG, JUN 09 - The youth wing of ruling CPN-UML, Youth Force has enforced a one-day banda in Taplejung district on Thursday protesting against the attack on its cadres.
Normal life in the district was crippled due to the strike as the market places remained shut and vehicular movement remained affected.
Youth Force said it called the strike demanding action against the attack on its Vice Chairman Sanjaya Subba.
A group of five-seven persons had allegedly attacked Subba with Khukuri on Tuesday evening.
Subba has sustained injuries on his wrist, Youth Force said.
