4 looting cases on a night
KATHMANDU, JUN 09 -
Property worth Rs 100,000 has been looted from various places in Kathmandu on Wednesday night.
A group broke into the retail shop of Guru Hari Ghimire in Jorpati and made away with 18 sacks of rice and Rs 25,000. Another group of thieves entered the hardware store of Ranjan Shrivastav at Naikap and fled with Rs 7,000.
Similarly, a group broke into the house of Gyanu Raj Bajracharya and decamped with a tola of gold and Rs 8,000.
Meanwhile, Metropolitan Police Circle, Lainchaur has nabbed two Indian nationals-Sunil Chakrawarti and Saibul Ali-for their alleged involvement in the looting Bajracharya's house.
