KATHMANDU, JUN 08 - The CPN-UML has reshuffled the responsibilities of its leader on Wednesday.
A Standing Committee meeting of the party held at Budanilkantha, Kathmandu has allotted the responsibilities of the party leaders, who have been appointed as ministers in the current government, to other UML leaders.
UML Secretary Shankar Pokharel has been made the vice chairman of the parliamentary party, which was earlier held by Defence Minister Bishnu Poudel.
Earlier, the UML Central Committee has given the responsibility to the Standing Committee to reshuffle the post of the party leaders.
Similarly, Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal has replaced Student Incharge Gokarna Bista, who is currently the energy minister.
Yogesh Bhattarai has been given with the responsibility of Youth Incharge.
Karna Bahadur Thapa has been named Seti Zone Incharge replacing Bhanubhakta Joshi and Lalit Basnet replaced Rapti Incharge Prakash Jwala. Bidya Bhadari will be looking after the Eastern region from now on.
