KATHMANDU, JUN 07 -
The government has taken the responsibility to provide complete security to UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal from Tuesday.
The government deployed 70 security personnel including 50 Armed Police Force men and 20 Nepal Police personnel for the security of the Maoist chairman following the departure of the PLA combatants.
The second lot of combatants left for Shaktikhor cantonment in Chitwan along with the weapons used by them this morning.
The combatants were escorted by the Special police squad.
Dahal bade farewell to 40 PLA combatants at his residence in Nayabazar this morning.
