MoHA reshuffles Joint Secys, CDOs

KATHMANDU, JUN 04 -  The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) has transferred and reshuffled the responsibility of its 40 joint secretaries, including 30 chief district officers.

The ministerial decision brought Mohan Krishna Sapkota as the chief at the Division of Staff Administration at the ministry from the Department of Labour. According to MoHA Secretariat, Basanta Bhattarai has been transferred to the Office of Immigration at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). Likewise, Yadav Prasad Koirala and Khadananda Dhakal have been sent to the Ministry of General Administration. Dhakal has been suspended over a red passport fraud scam. Similarly, Dhurba Prasad Dhakal, Khadga Bahadur Chapagain, Shivahari Upadhayay and Prem Bahadur Khapung have been transferred to Regional Administration Offices in Hetauda, Dhankuta, Pokhara and Dipayal, respectively.

Likewise, Kamaleshwor Kumar Sinha, Birendra Kumar Yadav, Laxman Kumar Thapa and Taranath Gautam have been transferred to District Administration Offices (DAO) in Kapilvastu, Dhanusha, Rupandehi and Parsa, respectively. Similarly, Kumar Shrestha has been transferred to Dhankuta DAO. Chief District Officer of Parsa, Nagendra Jha, has been called to the Ministry of Land Reforms and Management.

Similarly, Buddhi Bahadur Khadka has been sent to Rautahat and Shashi Shekhar Shrestha to Nawalparasi. According to the ministry, Hari Raj Panta has been transferred to Surkhet DAO, Ram Prasad Thapaliya to Sarlahi, Narayan Prasad Bidari to Siraha, Basu Dev Dahal to Kanchanpur, Prem Bahadur Khapung to Doti, Gokarna Mani Duwadi to Saptari, Kailash Kumar Bajimaya to Kailali, Krishna Chandra Ghimire to Banke and Chunamani Sharma to Sunsari.

Likewise, Shankar Aryal has been posted at Mahottari DAO, Rudra Nath Bashyal to Kavrepalanchok, Gehanath Bhandari to Jhapa and Bir Bahadur Rai to Udayapur.
