KATHMANDU, JUN 03 -

Former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal along with Nepali Congress leader Sujata Koirala and UCPN (Maoist) leader Hisila Yami have left for Bangladesh on Friday.

The visit comes at a time when the political parties are under constant pressure from several quarters to complete the twin tasks of peace process and statute drafting within the given deadline.

The former ministers' visit has been criticised saying that it was crucial for the political leaders to stay in the country at this crucial time.

A team of the Facebook users, Nepal Unites, has been preparing to stage demonstration against the foreign trip at the Tribhuwan International Airport this afternoon.

Earlier, Constituent Assembly Chairman Subash Nembang had cancelled a 2-week long US visit of four members of the Special Committee on Supervision, Integration, and Rehabilitation of the Maoist combatants.
