PARSA, MAY 22 - The four children of Jitpur VDC in Parsa district who were missing from Thursday were found dead on Sunday.
The bodies were found on the bank of Sukhadiya River situated at Jitpur-6.
Police said the bodies of five-year-old Raj Kumar Ram Das and Dip Narayan Chaudhary, six-year-old Anisha Kumari and seven-year-old Sitmala Chaudhary were found buried in a sand mound.
According to the Area Police Office, Pokhariya, police suspected that they died after sand mound buried them while they were kept on the bank of the river to protect them from storm that occurred on Thursday.
Locals recovered the bodies this morning and had informed the police.
Police said the bodies were decayed after burying in the mud for four days.RSS
