Motorcycle rally in Capital against NEFIN banda
Govt urges NEFIN to withdraw strike
KATHMANDU, MAY 13 -
Tourism entrepreneurs took out a motorcycle rally in the Capital on Friday protesting against the banda called by Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN).
The tourism entrepreneurs took out a rally protesting against the NEFIN saying that the banda has negatively affected Nepal Tourism year 2011.
The rally started from Durbarmarg, Bhadrakali, Sundhara, Ratnapark and turned into a corner meeting in Thamel.
Meanwhile, the government has urged the NEFIN to withdraw strike and sit for talks.
The government has bestowed the responsibility to hold talks with the NEFIN to Peace Minister Bishwonath Sah, Minister without portfolio Ghanashyam Bhusal and Prime Minister's political advisor Prakash Jwala .
