Pun rules out timely statute

ROLPA, MAY 01 -
Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Barsha Man Pun said on Sunday that the new constitution cannot be promulgated within the stipulated timeframe.
Speaking to the reporters, office chief, political cadres in Rolpa, Pun said the country will have to face many challenges post May 28.
Pun also the member of UCPN (Maoist) standing committee said, "The nation will plunge into darkness if political consensus is not forged at the earliest."
He added, "For this, the political parties should take right decisions."
Also on the occasion, Pun said the new constitution will be accepted by all as the Maoist is in favour of democratic republic.
