SAPTARI, APR 30 - The Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (JTMM), one of the underground outfits operating in some Tarai districts, declared the relinquishment of arms on Saturday.
JTMM Chairman Rajiv Jha announced the decision amid a press meet organised by the Morcha in Rajbiraj, Saptari district today, adding that Madhesi people would prefer peaceful movement rather than an armed struggle.
The JTMM was formed in 2007 from Lahan, Siraha district.
