MJF shouldn’t join govt: Gupta
INARUWA, APR 30 - Co-Chair of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF) Jaya Prakash Gupta on Saturday urged his party leadership to withdraw its decision to join the current government, saving the nation from a devastating crisis thereby.
According to Gupta, party Chairman Upendra Yadav should reconsider his decision—joining the government—to save the party and the nation from plunging into crisis as the current CPN-UML Chairman and Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal-led government has already failed.
“Chairman should withdraw his decision to join the government,” said MJF leader Gupta, talking to the reporters in Sunsari district today. “If not that would be a bad omen for the party.”
The MJF leader said that the majority of Madhesh is not in favor of joining the government, adding that Prime Minister Khanal should immediately resign from his post to pave a way for a consensus government.
