KATHMANDU, APR 29 -
Nepal has been picked as one of the ten countries by the FIFA for the up-coming “Goal Football Project”. In this regard, a three-member team from the governing body arrived in Kathmandu for a feasibility study to be conducted in coming days in different sites proposed by the All Nepal Football Association.
The world governing body, FIFA, awards US $ 400,000 for the three-year project. The foreign delegates include, David Borja, Senior Manager (Development Programme Asia), Jean-Michel Benezet, Technical Director (Member Associations & Development Division) and Chrysantha Perere, Assistant Development Officer, DO Colombo.
