KATHMANDU, APR 25 -
The government has recommended to summon the budget session of the Legislature-Parliament from May 2.
Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal met President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav at the latter's official residence in Shital Niwas on Monday and recommended to summon the budget session.
There is a constitutional provision to summon the budget session as per the recommendation from the prime minister.
The procedure for the budget session will kick off after the president sends a formal letter urging for the session at the parliament secretariat.
The winter session of the House was prolonged on April 22 for the budget session.
