KAPILVASTU, APR 21 -
A fire gutted 40 houses at Pipara in Paschim Chanai VDC-6, Kapilvastu, on Wednesday. It broke out in the house of Sabar Pathan and spread to neighbouring houses. It took nearly three hours for a fire engine, police and local residents to douse the fire. According to the Area Police Office, property worth Rs. 2 million was destroyed.
