One killed, five injured in separate accidents

PARBAT, APR 18 -
A person has been killed when hit by a bus at Chuwa VDC of Parbat district along the Pokhara-Bagling Highway on Monday.
One Bishnumati Padhya, 90, of Chuwa-5, was killed when the bus (Dha 1 Kha 104) en route to Kushma Bazar from Nayapool in Kaski hit her this morning.
Padhya, who had sustained critical injuries in the mishap, breathed her last while undergoing treatment at Manipal Teaching hospital in Pokhara, sources confirmed.
It is learnt that the bus has been impounded and the driver has been detained by the police.
Likewise, five persons have been injured when an ambulance (Ga 1 Cha 2642) met with an accident at Nayapool today.
The injured have been identified as Arjun Chalise, Pratikshya Sharma, Ratna Bahadur KC, Maya Thapa, and Bindu KC.
The injured are undergoing treatment at Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital in Baglung.
