KATHMANDU, APR 10 -
President’s Legal Advisor Surya Dhungel said on Sunday that President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav has no intensions of transgressing the provisions of the interim constitution.
Speaking to Radio Kantipur today, Dhungel claimed that the constitution allows the president to hold consultations with party leaders and underlined that the president’s steps must not be condemned.
On the occasion, he said that the Constituent Assembly (CA)’s term must be extended only after assuring the public that the new constitution will be promulgated and the peace process will be concluded.
