30 injured in Kailali bus mishap; six critical

TIKAPUR, APR 02 -
At least 30 persons have been injured, six critically, in a bus accident at Baliya in Kailali district along the Mahendra Highway on Saturday.
They were injured when the bus (Ve 1 Kha 935) en route to Dhangadi from Nepalgunj collided with a truck (Na 3 Kha 3701) heading east from Dhangadi this afternoon.
The critically injured have been identified as Ghanashyam Bista, Ram Bahadur Bali, Asharam Chawdhary, Rupak Chawdhary, Yaman BC, and Tej Bahadur Gharti.
The critically injured have been ferried to Nepalgunj for treatment whereas the rest are undergoing treatment at Lal Ratna Hospital in Lamki of Kailali, sources confirmed.
