CPN-UML Vice Chairman Bamdev Gautam said on Monday that the current government will attain entirety within the next 4 to 5 days.
Claiming that a separate mechanism for resolving the issues seen in the expansion of Council of Ministers has been formed, Gautam added that a full-blown Cabinet will emerge soon.
Speaking at a programme organised in Lamjung, he said that allocation of the Home portfolio to the UCPN (Maoist) has been promised in the seven-point agreement forged with the party.
“There is no point in opposing the allocation of Home portfolio to the Maoist, taking into consideration the seven-point deal.” Gautam said.
He said that the national politics is passing through a crucial phase of its transition.
“The processes of peace and statute drafting must not be impeded by lingering over minor issues,” Gautam added.
On the occasion, he underlined that the peace and the statute drafting processes are bound to fail provided that the current Jhala Nath Khanal-led government topples.
