Education indispensable for development: Prez

SARLAHI, MAR 09 -

President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav said on Wednesday that education is an indispensable criteria for development in the nation.

Speaking at a programme organised at Lalbandi of Sarlahi district, President Yadav said that education to both genders can ensure development in the country.

 “We must learn from the trends seen in developed nations,” he said, “Providing equal opportunities of education to men and women is crucial for development.”

Yadav underlined education, health, and environment as the backbones of development in any country.

In a different context, he said that the industrial sector of the nation has been hit hard owing to the energy crisis.

Yadav claimed that the nation can be steered towards economic prosperity provided that the prospect of hydropower generation is fully cultivated.

On the occasion, he underscored the importance of afforestation, forest conservation, and environmental balance in the development of the nation.
