KATHMANDU, MAR 08 -
A police constable was injured when his friend stabbed him with a sharp weapon at his Nardevi-based rented house on Sunday night. Motilal Mahara, 25, was stabbed in the stomach by his 18-year-old friend Bibek Rajbahak. The motive behind the attack is yet to be ascertained, but investigators said Rajbahak may have lost his temper when Mahara failed to help him financially. Police have arrested Rajbahak and charged with attempted murder. Mahara’s wife, who was a witness to the attack, rushed him to Bir Hospital. Police said Mahara’s condition is critical.
