PM Khanal urges parties to embrace responsibility

KATHMANDU, FEB 19 -
Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal said on Saturday that all political parties must move forward in unity in order to pilot the peace and the statute drafting process to a logical conclusion.
Speaking at a programme organised on the occasion of the 61st Democracy Day in the Capital, Khanal said that institutionalising the federal democratic republic attained by the Janandolan-II must be prioritised at present.
He appealed to the political leaders to get rid of animosity and embrace their responsibility towards the nation and the public.
On the occasion, Khanal underlined that everyone must be aware of the dangers that counterrevolutionary forces can pose provided that the progresses attained so far is not institutionalised.
